Typical of everywhere, really. You have to have a fence around your property so people know it's yours, otherwise it'll fill up with unwanted trash. I'll have to post about trash so I can explain that. Random sidenote, sorry.
This picture is typical because of the barbed wire and broken bottles. I'd never seen broken bottles used to keep people out before, but I was surprised to find them everywhere.
This particular fence was around the Augusta Victoria chapel complex, but the Garden of Gethsemene had a similar fence. Not pleasant.
